This paper presents a simple experimental methodology of determination of critical rotational speeds of circular saw blades. Both producers and users should be interested in getting information on the actual values of critical (permissible) speeds because very often rotational speeds recommended by producers (sometimes also marked on saw blades) are larger than the values obtained experimentally.
